Colin Searle reports Stratford-upon-Avon A team are now League Champions!

Stratford went into the last match as follows:-
Olton A vs Solihull
Olton B vs Stratford A
Both being played on the same night,

Stratford were 1 game point behind Olton A but with a 1 point better game difference

Stratford won (3-0 with 1 match undecided) and the other match Solihull were losing 2 -1 and they had to draw for us to be Champions

The last game was Ray Carpenter vs Paul Smith and it was a time scramble with both players Queening. But ray (Solihull) got there 1st.

He gave a few checks at very fast speed and then after 5 seconds on one of the moves the players found that it was mate and  Ray (Solihull)  had won,

So match 2-2 and  Stratford-upon-Avon A team are now League Champions!
